• You know how Starkid asks you not to video tape stuff before every show but most of you do anyway for Tumblr notes? You’ll get thrown in jail for doing it on Broadway so I suggest you actually listen this time.
• You know the little ad they play at the beginning of movies about not Tweeting/texting/calling/blogging/using a phone in general before movies because it pisses people off? Same for theater, and i guarantee you won’t be too happy when you get ripped out of the theater after spending upwards of $500 on airfare, hotel, dress, transportation, and whatever else you paid for to get to New York because you felt the need to tell your followers that “Darren is finally on stage”. Just don’t.
• You know how Darren’s concerts have a dress code of assorted (and sometimes creepy, might I add…) fan made Klaine shirts and pink sunglasses? Broadway has a dress code too. It’s called formal wear, and pink sunglasses and jeans don’t count.
• You know how at Darren’s concerts you typically can’t hear a word he’s saying because someone screams every time he opens his mouth? This isn’t a concert, and publicly squealing at Darren’s face is a no-no. Contrary to popular belief, not everyone in the theater is NOT going to this musical because they know who Darren is; some people are season ticket holders, some people just enjoy musicals, some people didn’t get the memo that Daniel Radcliffe was done. Either way, no one wants to miss an entire song because you felt it necessary to alert the entire theater that Darren is on stage. We know. We have the program. His face is on it. 
• ENJOY DA SHOW.

For all of my followers, this etiquette applies for every time you ever go to a theatre, whether it’s Broadway or not, equity or not, a celebrity you love is in it or not. Most people go to the theatre because they love it and doing the things this person warns against ruins that experience for everyone else. So please just keep that in mind.
